When adopting a new pet, it is important to get a wellness check up.  This will include review of vaccinations and possibly a fecal sample.  It is a good chance for the new pet to experience the veterinary office in a positive situation and get used to the sights, smells and sounds there.

On my first visit to the vet, I weighed in at 31 pounds, received my rabies vaccine and got a thorough once over from Dr. Daniels.  He said my hips are good, I was teething and I could stand to gain a little weight. All my labs came back negative for Ova and Parasites.

My next visit will be for my spay appointment in January.
