Allergy Season Affects Not Only Humans

Pets are not immune to the change in seasons

Watery eyes, itchy ears and skin and runny noses are signs that might indicate the onset of seasonal allergies not only in humans, but dogs as well.  It's always a good idea to get checked out by your personal physician.  Taking that advice to heart, I visited my personal veterinarian, Dr. Jeff Daniels at Willingboro Veterinary Clinic.  I received a thorough exam including an ear washing and nail clipping.  The result is that my ears are "affected by not infected" by allergies and the condition was caught in the nick of time.  Dr. Daniels also prescribed some allergy medication to be taken until the allergies subside. 

 

 



Urinary Incontinence Often Seen in Older Spayed Female Dogs

Unfortunately, older dogs are not immune from the same issues faced by older humans.  Considered well into her senior years at 14 years of age, CeCe is now exhibiting symptoms of urinary incontinence.  During Tex's visit to the vet, we expressed our concerns with Dr. Daniels.  Alternatives to "puppy diapers" for nighttime use were discussed and medication was prescribed to help stop the drips.

Security Alert Issued for Dining Room

Hit Gator Hired to Guard Food Bowl

A security alert was issued for the Dining Room after Jack was seen meeting with alleged Hit Gator, Al E.  Sources say that the Jack asked for the meeting in order to secure exclusive access to the Food Bowl.  Felines are advised to approach the area with utmost caution.

 

 

                                                  

Argus Maintains Title of Best Catcher

Argus demonstrated his unique ability and agility of "The Catch."  He continues to amaze with his swift and graceful moves and 100% accuracy.  So far there have been no challenges to his title.

 

 

 

 

Renovation Complete on Randi's Estate

The renovations have been completed on Randi's estate.  The roof has been fortified and the integrity of the structure is solid.  Shortly after completion, Jack and Jabbers were seen lounging on the rooftop.

Shopping Excursion for Construction Materials

Dinner conversation this evening centered on the potential roof collapse of Randi 's estate.  A certain large feline has taken to lounging on the roof compromising the integrity of the structure.

I accompanied the Custodial staff on their shopping excursion to a certain well-known construction materials store.  However, building supply prices were not in line with the budget for the project.  An alternate solution is in the design phase.

More details will be reported on as they emerge.

• Sources indicate that Randi has fully recovered from her recent limb amputation.  She was recently seen running up stairs and jumping on and off window sills.  She recently completed an annex to her estate.

• CeCe recently celebrated her 14th birthday.  She is still going strong despite her lifelong struggles with Sebaceous Adenitis.

• Tex recently attempted a visit to the local veterinary hospital.  However, as many cats and dogs have experienced recently, patient visits are on the rise and he had to reschedule for later in the week.  More information on his medical condition will be updated as it becomes available.

The dog days of summer are upon us.  As summer winds down so do the temperatures.  With temperatures in the high 70's, our canine staff took to the patio to enjoy the weather.
